| Minimal Circumcision |
Minimal circumcision is often performed on those who wish to remain as close to uncircumcised as possible. In cases of phimosis, the minimum amount of skin that needs to be removed is defined by the extent of the phimosis. Because the scar will heal over a narrower portion of the glans, all of the inelastic skin must be removed to ensure that once healed, the scar will offer enough elasticity to allow retraction of foreskin, otherwise phimosis will persist, or re-occur later in life.

DISCUSSION
In loose or no underwear, the movement of penis and friction may result in part of the glans being exposed. The newly exposed portion of glans will still be moist and very sensitive and the contact/friction with the linen can be very annoying, sometimes unconfortable, and also embarassing when it results in erections in places where it would be noticeable (public transit for instance). Judicious selection of underwear will help reduce this issue.
